Many people have waded in the waters of the Dead Sea and came out with glowy, clear, or healed skin. Others have said that it helped heal their eczema and psoriasis. In our mask, we bring a bit of the Dead Sea to you. Dead Sea Salt bolsters the skin barrier, is inflammatory, antibacterial, and rich in minerals like magnesium and zinc. It can even slow down the appearance of wrinkles.
We use Dead Sea Salt sourced from the southern part of the sea, and stir it with our tallow, pumpkin seed oil, and jojoba oil. We recommend applying gently and massaging it on unbroken skin for ten minutes and then washing it off. Follow with one of our tallow balms for additional hydration.
Note from founder: I personally apply the Beryl Balm after I use this mask.
Two sizes available: 2oz and 12ml.
INGREDIENTS
Tallow: grass-fed and grass-finished, synthetic-free, pesticide-free, and non-GMO. Sourced from east Texas grazing cows.
What is tallow and its benefits?
Tallow is made from rendering and purifying a cow’s suet or hard fat. It’s very similar to human skin and works remarkably well with it. Rich in vitamins A, D, E, K, B12 and conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), it nourishes the skin and contains healing properties. It has oleic acid, palmitoleic acid, stearic acid, and linoleic acid.
It’s been used for acne, bug bites, eczema, cuts, and scars, wrinkles, dark spots, fine lines, and even on the neck to relieve sore throats. It’s non-comedogenic (doesn’t clog pores), anti-microbial (anti-fungi, anti-bacterial, anti-viral), anti-aging, and extremely hydrating.
Dead Sea Salt: pure; sourced from the southern part of the Dead Sea.
What are the benefits of Dead Sea Salt?
Sourced from the southern part of the Dead Sea, Dead Sea Salt contains many minerals: calcium, sodium, zinc, and potassium. Rich also in magnesium, it hydrates the skin whilst reducing inflammation and bacteria. It’s been said to have helped heal eczema, psoriasis, and other chronic skin conditions. Due to its sulfur content, it’s also known to aid in healing acne.
Pumpkin Seed Oil: organic, cold pressed, unrefined, and non-GMO.
What are the benefits of pumpkin seed oil?
This marvelous oil is packed with vitamins A, C, magnesium, potassium, zinc, and unsaturated fatty acids. It aids oily and acne-prone skin. It’s antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and anti-aging. It also contains beta-carotene and is rich in antioxidants and helps firm the skin.
Jojoba Oil: USDA organic, non-GMO, cold-pressed, unrefined.
What are the benefits of jojoba oil?
Jojoba “oil,” is technically a wax, and derives from the seeds from the jojoba plant. Like tallow, it’s very similar to the human skin sebum and contains vitamin E and B and antioxidants. It’s light-weight, anti-bacterial (anti-acne), anti-inflammatory, and non-comedogenic. Historically, it’s been used on stretch marks, cuts, sores, bruises, and burns.
Lavender essential oil: organic, gluten-free, and non-GMO.
What are the benefits of lavender essential oil? Besides a natural fragrance alternative, lavender essential oil is antifungal and antimicrobial, promotes hair growth, helps heal wounds, and has a calming effect on humans, according to various studies.
